Pung Rae Yue
Singaporean-Australian Pung Rae Yue is a prize-winner in many international competitions, including the V International Subcarpathian Chopin Piano Competition for Age 21 & under (2019), VIII Budapest International Chopin Competition (2018), the XIII Volodymyr Krainev Piano Competition(2018) , the XXI International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth, the 2017 Chopin Memorial Prizes - Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition, the Asia Pacific Outstanding Youth Piano Competition (Youth Professional Category, 2017), the 10th edition Young Pianist of The North Upon Tyne competition (2017), the Grand Prix Prize and Jean Paul Seville Prize in the Piano Island Festival and Competition (2018).
Rae has performed in many concerts and festivals across the globe, such as the Sensational Prodigy Series in Basilica di san Pietro (2014), the Vladimir Spivakov Moscow Meets Friends International Festival (2014), the Alliance Global Investors Junior Music Excursion (Asia Pacific, 2015), Little Lev Young Pianists’ Showcase at the Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition (2017), Suntory Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Carnegie Hall, Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, Showa Music Academy, Katowice Music Academy, Rubinstein Institute, Queensland Conservatory of Music and the Esplanade Recital Studio. She has also played with Philharmonic Orchestra of the University of Alicante, Danube Symphony Orchestra, Dohnányi Symphony Orchestra Budafok, Orchestra Philharmonic della Calabria, Torun Symphony Orchestra, and others. Rae currently studies with Professor Stanislav Ioudenitch at the Oberlin Conservatory.
