Andrea Molteni

Andrea Molteni is one of the foremost Italian pianists of the younger generation. Despite his young age, he is regularly invited to prestigious concert venues and festivals internationally (USA, China, Switzerland, Singapore, Romania, Poland, Germany, France and Italy). He regularly performs with orchestras.

He is a student at the prestigious International Lake Como Piano Academy with William Grant Naboré and Stanislav Ioudenitch, and at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana pursuing his master's degree in Advanced Performance Studies.


In 2013, Cercle Wagner association in France awarded a scholarship that took him to the Bayreuth Festival (Germany) celebrating the Wagnerian Jubilee, followed by a series of concerts in Nice, Monte Carlo, Mentone and in Cannes. 


In 2016 Andrea performed with Italian “Ministro dell’istruzione, dell’università e della ricerca (Prof. Stefania Giannini)” in Villa Vigoni (Como). Other relevant performances include Wiener Saal of the universiry Mozarteum in Salzburg, Scriabin Museum in Moscow, Concert Hall of Chopin Music University in Warsaw, Chinese Cultural Center in Singapore, National Opera Center in New York, Werner Recital Hall in the CCM in Cincinnati. In his concerts he regularly performs the complete Chopin Etudes Op.10.


From 2019 Andrea is collaborating with Piano Island Management (in Singapore); he produced his debut CD entirely dedicated to Chopin and he performed in several important cities in China.


He has won about thirty national and international competitions, the last in Milan, Piano Talents International Competition (Grand Prix, 2018). Not to mention the second prize at the International Piano Competition “Cesar Frank” (Bruxelles, 2016).


Born in Como in 1998, Andrea began studying the piano at the age of seven and was accepted to G. Verdi music Conservatory in Como, under the guidance of M. Mario Patuzzi where he graduated with top honors and unanimous honorable mention from the Commission.
A recent student of Vincenzo Balzani in Milan, he also took part in various master classes with Dang Thai Son, A.Vardi, P.Gililov, P.Paleczny, V.Feltsman, A.Delle Vigne, C.O’Riley.


At the tender age of 15, Andrea conducted and performed with a youth Orchestra formed by himself, “L’Orchestra del Lago”.
